Inspire Calendar 2010
Description: This website was created to promote and sell (secondary to retailers) a calendar featuring customised motorcycles in stylized movie scenarios. Both Flash and html versions of the site were created and some of the features included flash shopping cart, animated galleries and finished off with Hi-Effect to match the calendar.
Technology: Project: Website (www.inspirecalendar.net)
Client: David Willis (Studio ViDa)
Brief: Create a website for a premium motorcycle calendar, including e-commerce (retail) sales and promotion to wholesalers.

Description:
The calendar features 12 custom-built Harley Davidson motorcycles in highly stylized sets from the documentary movie ‘Inspire – Tales from the Road Side’. The unique artwork and styling, poster-size format and premium paper stock made this a unique product the motorcycle calendar market.

The website was presented in three formats to accommodate different technologies: Flash, with sleek animations and streamline design, for the majority of site visitors; an HTML version for those with slower internet connections, which was easy to navigate and optimised for speed while maintaining the slick look of the site; and Mobile for displaying on mobile devices such as iPhone and Netbooks. All versions of the site feature a shopping cart for purchasing the calendar and selected prints/posters. The Flash site has two beautifully animated galleries with information about the images, while the HTML and Mobile versions have reduced galleries for easy viewing.

Features:
- Flash and HTML (web and mobile) versions
- 2 In-built shopping cart in Flash and PHP
- Image gallery with animation and effects
- Embedded videos
